Iowa: #Hawkeyestate or #Cyclonestate?

About 3 weeks ago, we had the big game of the season that many college football fans in Iowa were waiting to see.  Iowa vs. Iowa State.  The battle for the Cy-Hawk trophy.  Every year leading up to the game, I hear from each team's fans that "Iowa is a Hawkeye State," or "Iowa is a Cyclone State."  So this year I decided to do a little research about this to see which team is the more popular one in Iowa through social media.

Looking at the data here, the Iowa State account is far more active with twice as many tweets but the Iowa account is more popular.  The edge goes to Iowa Football.
Klout
Iowa has a Klout score of 90 while Iowa State has a Klout score of 88, but the thing I looked for was whether each school was influential in football.  Iowa was but Iowa State wasn't.  So the edge once again goes to Iowa.
The Game
As far as the game went, Iowa was pretty dominant pretty much the whole game.  They allowed a couple of scores late when the game was all but decided and ended up winning 27-21.  Edge, once again, goes to Iowa.
After compiling all this data, it shows that Iowa is a Hawkeye State.
